Althouh Roquetas isn’t huge it’s too large for most people to walk everywhere.
One of the easiest ways to get around is with the bus. The bus company is ALSA. There is one, the M330, which goes all the way through Roquetas, Aguadulce and on to Almeria. The only downside is that it mostly only runs once an hour. Click the link below to see a timetable. However, beware, in Roquetas at least the times are approximate. It’s quite common for the bus to be over 10 minutes early or late.
You can just pay the driver but it’s a lot easier and much cheaper if you have a bus card.
You can get these from a Tobacconist or the cafeteria in the bus station.. You pay a couple of euros and ask them to put, say, 5 euros on it. A journey round Roquetas costs 44 cents so that should last a while.
