Every Thursday morning there is a street market in Roquetas. It is close to the Gran Plaza shopping centre, opposite the theatre.

This is a typical market that has over 250 stalls. Fruit and Veg. at one end and lots of clothes, fabrics etc. at the other. It can be very busy so not the best place to visit if you are with small children. If you fancy churros or freshly cooked chicken off the spit, this is the place.

Every Sunday morning there is also a market in Vicar, about 10 km from Roquetas. This is another typical market that has everything, but it is much bigger than the Roquetas one.
